The Australian Government's national internet project under the NBN (National Broadband Network) label is a (deliberate) failure at the expense of the hard working Australian tax payers.
As each year goes by Australia's internet speed rating pummels, no thatnks to the NBN.
What's even worse (for the 'consumers') is that when it's finally rolled out across the entire country, it's going to be sub par and obselete, where the corporation aggregate call the 'Austalian Government' will sell off the tax payer's asset (or in this case a liability).
Hip Hip hooray for the imbeciles in charge of the colony we call Australia.
Just as long as plenty of people get 'money for mates' jobs in the associated projects while ripping off the Australian 'tax slaves' in the mean time.

I believe that any infrastructure built with tax payers' money must not be sold (privatised) to private corporate because corrupted politicians & friends have a stake in it so it's a conflict of interests.
In my suburb they are completing the scandalous NBN works and I started doing some research.
Well it's not easy, actually it's a very very technical and complicated matter, FTTP, FTTB, FTTC, HFC and so on, go explain these codes to common people who struggle with every day life not to mention pensioners.
The main aim of the NBN project was to delivery a top quality internet to Australia then it has became investigation after investigation and a sub par technology where the corporate (again against the community) decided what level of internet people will get depending on previous installed Telstra "garbage" connections.
In my case it will be a FTTC which means a mixed optical connection up to my house's street pit then to the 20-30year old copper line that runs to my home's phone socket.
As I've always struggled with a developing country style internet connection I believe that this NBN connection will be nothing but a more expensive monthly rate and the same industrial grade garbage offered to Australians.
Also NBN's aim was to provide a "fast" internet experience to Australia so why all of these different 20, 25, 40, 50 speed contracts?
And then they tell you "average" evening speed based on our database?
Has anything changed after the standard ADSL? Yes, we got a big bill to pay!
But for our puppet (and traitor) politicians is mandatory to accomplish what the Master US orders so we ban the Chinese 5G technology rather than offering the best experience to the tax payers!
