The 25th of April marks the day of remembrance for Australian and New Zealand soldiers (ANZAC's) that fought and died in Gallipoli, Turkey during World War I.The 'celebration' is slowly becoming a generic, day of remembrance of all who have served and died during war.
It is also well accepted knowledge, that the British forces, under the leadership of Chruchill, betrayed the positions of Australian Diggers during the War.
This was done in order for the Australian soldiers to become Canon Fodder, so that 'mother' England can encroach without much resistance or rather, the own casualties.
True history is not taught in schools or even sought by the 'mass' media.
In reality ANZAC Day serves as a grim reminder, that the Australian soldiers were betrayed and led like lambs to the slaughter.
Who said you can trust your mother.
