Police anger as King St nightclub Spearmint Rhino wins approval to double its size

VICTORIA Police is embroiled in a public order feud with the City of Melbourne over the large-scale expansion of one of Melbourne's most dangerous nightclubs.
Notorious King St venue Spearmint Rhino has won approval to double its size.
Documents obtained by the Herald Sun reveal that police are now locked in a court fight with the council to overturn the move.
Police fear the increase in size will make an existing "hot spot" for violence even worse.
Officers have investigated a series of violent incidents at the club, which is a haunt of the Comanchero outlaw bikie gang.

The government is not serious about the  reduction of crime in the notorious King St precinct.
Known to authorities, drug cartels have been operating for decades at the business fronts, where high ranking officials are involved with prostitutes.
Melbourne's drug underworld  runs the authorities, where bribes and corruption not only rules, but will not under any circumstances be uncovered.
