Corporations lie to their customers, where their CEO’s or legal representatives also lie to the courts.
Google is not an ‘honourable’ corporation, where many of its activities are deliberately overlooked, as it also provides information to both government and no-government organisations within the Five Eyes network.
Google also (forcibly) installed spying/tracking software onto your smartphone, where there was no option to ‘opt-out’, during the global health situation, which ultimately was a futile exercise, if that was the only alleged purpose for the spyware to exist where now it should be removed as the so called threat is now gone.
To put it quite simply, Google is deceptive in its conduct with regards to its customers or rather more accurately ‘data providers’.
Google needs you to have its latest version of software updates, not for your privacy or security but rather for Google’s next iteration of spyware.
In this example of Google’s deceptive conduct, it claims that the clock within your smartphone will not ‘run’ or function if you do not update to the latest version of Google Play services.
This is a BLATANT lie, where the clock does still function and with reasonable accuracy too, where if one needs more, then synchronising with atomic clocks on a regular basis can be done as well.
Will the legal world pay attention to this 'deceptive conduct’, where a class action will be taken against Google?
It’s safe to say, NO!
If one is truly concerned about a level of privacy that is less intrusive than the spyware that is loaded onto factory smartphones available from Google, Samsung, Nokia, Motorola etc, then AOSP (Android Open Source Project) software, like e foundation, LineageOS or GrapheneOS may be available for your hardware.
