Apple mouse Aussie store Rip Off

Another rip off from Apple concerning Australian consumers comes straight from the Apple store itself.

The United States store sells the Apple's wireless magic mouse for $69 as pictured in the illustration.

Apple is widely recognised by its resellers as dictating a price, where minimal profit margins are made by the reseller.

In Australia however Apple has decided to up the ante again in profits, and tagged on another 43% profit on the product.

From the Apple store in Australia (or even JB Hi Fi ), the Wireless magic mouse sells for a wallet draining $99.

This is an increase of $30 over the U.S price or as mentioned earlier, 43% more.

There is no justification for the price hike especially given that the US to Australian dollar exchange rate is at an accepted 1:1 (0.9986 at the time of writing).

Another quality Apple product ripping off the consumer.

This post is merely an illustration of how Globalisation and Corporate Giants are ripping off the public.

Apple products are 'designed' in California and made in China, under 'slave' (cheap) labour conditions.

Government Fraud at highest level of Police

On the 1st of March 2011 the Herald Sun newspaper ran an article on how the government provided fraudulent information regarding crime statistics in Melbourne, Victoria.

This is not only about the matter of providing false information, but also there is the matter of corruption in business / government politics and the proceeds of crime.

Corruption in government and business dealings is rife, and most of it is kept underground out of the view of the public arena.

Government contracts are given to Masonic members or friends / family of the brotherhood even if other 'quotations' are better value.

When information regarding who is on the payrolls is ever made public, they are usually dismissed in the Masonic ruled court system, as "inadmissible evidence' or the ruling is given as "no links have been found" (to underworld figures).

In a matter where there was a shooting, regarding an underworld figure, the corrupt judge ruled in favour of the accused, acquitting them totally of the murder.

Some of Victoria's top Police Officers are involved in the drug cartels, and are on the payrolls of other criminal gangs.

Whilst it is 'good to know' or even great that the Herald Sun reports on this, there is NO REPERCUSSIONS to the corruption made public.

Simon Overland should step down from his position as Head of Police.

Apple Releases FaceTime 1.0

Posted by: Kenan

Apple today announced the release of FaceTime 1.0, the first major release of their application that allows Mac users to video call iPhone 4 and iPod touch users as well as other Macs. The software had previously been in beta since October of last year, but those days are over now. New features in this release include support for HD video and the ability to add and edit contacts from within the application, instead of needing to launch Address Book separately.

FaceTime for Mac makes it easy to talk, smile and laugh with friends and family on their iPhone 4, iPod touch or Mac. Getting started is quick and easy - simply enter your Apple ID and you're ready to go. Whether you're talking to someone on an iPhone or on another Mac, video calls with FaceTime look great. There's no better way to stay in touch with all your favorite faces.

FaceTime 1.0 is available now through the Mac App Store for .99 cents. All you need is Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later. Buyers of the new MacBook Pro will get the application for free pre-installed on their system.

Here is a bit more misinformation.

There's no better way to stay in touch with all your favorite faces.

There is, and other options are Fring and Skype.

ALL for FREE and NOT at a cost of $0.99 from Apple.

Another rip off by Apple.

Facetime comes standard on ipod touch from 2010.

Apple - Misinformation and Retarding its users

Misinformation :

Apple has had a product on the market called the
APPLE TV, which currently is in its second generation.

A tv or television by most people's understanding is a viewing device which receives signals from a broadcast tower.

As defined by wikipedia a television is something,

"which was modeled on the existing radio broadcasting systems developed in the 1920s, and uses high-powered radio-frequency transmitters to broadcast the television signal to individual TV receivers.

In today's modern society a Digital Set-top box, is understood to be a piece of equipment that receives digital (as opposed to analogue- for the old tv) signals which can connect to a 'television' or monitor.

Both televsions and set-top boxes may have inputs for an external antenna.

The AppleTV is a box which has NO viewing area, and there is NO radio frequency receiver to receive radio transmitted broadcasts.

Advertising a product misleadingly is against the law.

Apple should be sued for misleading the public on its AppleTV product.

Retarding Functions of Devices:

Apple are well known to users for limiting the functions of the devices they bring out.

The users are being held back or retarded by Apple.

The first incarnations of the idevices that Apple brought out did not even have copy/cut and paste, which other brands of palm or pocketpc had years prior.

The practice is still widespread in the manufacture of Apple products.

It is no secret that the new idevices for example the illustrated ipod Touch (4th generation), do not have some of the basic features contained in other branded technology.

Many a technology forum user complains that they cannot do certain functions on an Apple device that they could on their other branded (for example) phone, many years earlier.

Bluetooth:

There is an expected performance level associated with technology in our electronic devices.

According to Apple the tech specs for it's ipod are that it has:
Bluetooth® 2.1 + EDR

Users have the understanding that when they have bluetooth, they can
  • connect to a headset,
  • transfer files to other bluetooth devices,
  • exchange contact details,
  • connect a device to the internet via their bluetooth enabled phone.

NOT so with Apple.

You can ONLY connect to a headset with the ipod Touch.

All the other functions have been disabled by Apple.

FM Radio:

The ipod Touch is touted as an entertainment device. As part of an 'entertainment' package on many other electronic devices, for example media players, phones, FM radio reception is provided.

The technology used today's equipment is very simple and inexpensive. The Broadcomm chipset that resides in the ipod provides bluetooth, Wifi and FM reception. This package provided by the manufacturer is sold as a single unit with all the features enabled.

Apple has again locked down technology that not only users are accustomed to, but expect from their 'entertainment' device.

Apple ipad 2 - How much RAM - No info supplied

In today's tech savvy world, there is a STRONG emphasis on specifications, either by the end user or by the manufacturing company in providing all the information to the consumer.

In the world of Information Technology and Telecommunications manufacturers show of their latest products with accompanying numbers and their units of Megabytes / Gigabytes, Gigahertz etc.

One of THE most important computer specifications is its memory which gives the user an indication of how many programs can be run or stored in the background at any one time. The units used in today's computers vary from Megabytes on smaller handheld computers to Gigabytes on new models.

Apple has deliberately NOT informed the user on how much memory its new ipad 2 has available. In today's day and age this is NOT an acceptable form of 'misinformation'.

You cannot hide behind a barrier of ( for example):
"We are not focusing on memory, but rather the usability of our new ipad".

The ipad 2 is NOT this 'magical' piece of equipment it is made out to be, but rather a minor upgrade on the existing ipad, which should have had the features of ipad 2 built in from its inception.

The ipad 2 has the same amount of 'small' memory as its predecessor, that being 256MB.

Shame on Apple for NOT providing this information to its tech savvy genius customers.

Kim Kardashian Music debut - No talent

Kim Kardashian has allegedly released a song.

she claims that :

"I'm human, I've never, you know, sang before,"

So if you are human and never sang before, get some professional tutoring and THEN release a single.

It just emphasizes that the music industry is TRASH, and is on the look out for the next money making (no) 'talent'.

The so called performer is NOT in charge of any process in the music industry, and are led by a team who work on the image of the person.

The music studio then changes every out of tone belching by the performer electronically distorting it, putting a basic beat to it, and then calling it music.

Most teenagers with computers now have the ability to produce similar results.

Another piece of entertainment trash forced upon the masses by the "Music Industry".

Blake takes blame for Fifi's hospital visit

Hamish Blake may have inadvertently poisoned his radio replacement.

Blake may be responsible for Fox FM Drive host Fifi Box's recent bout of illness after mixing her a drink in a vase.

Box is recovering at home having been taken to hospital after showing the symptoms associated with gastroenteritis.

The bubbly blonde, along with co-host host Jules Lund, have taken over from radio kings Blake and Andy Lee to present the top-rating show.

Blake has all but taken responsibility for Box's illness.

He said Box had popped round his house for a drink, and with girlfriend Zoe Foster not home, it fell to him to mix a "girly" jug of Pimms and lemonade.

"I didn't have a jug so I made it in a vase. I am trying to remember if I washed the vase. Possibly not," Blake is quoted as saying in the Herald Sun.

Lee stepped up to the mic on Tuesday when Box fell ill on air, and Blake filled in for her on air on Wednesday. Lee is likely to be back in the chair if the bubbly blonde is still unwell today.

Not only a moron on the radio but a cretin in real life, mixing a drink in a vase.

Hamish Blake and Andy Lee hit the jackpot with Channel 9

RADIO kings Hamish Blake and Andy Lee are set to sign a production and performance deal worth as much as $15 million with Channel 9.

The clever comedy duo are understood to be close to a two-year-deal to produce a minimum of 10 hours of TV per year for the network through their production company Radio Karate.

Joining forces with Nine would also allow them to tap into the network's major events coverage, including the London Olympics next year.

The pair are well-known sports nuts with one of their TV specials last year focusing on India in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games

The big budget deal, following an intense bidding war between networks, cements their place as two of the most powerful and highest paid stars on Australian TV.

Interest in the undisputed champions of the airwaves has been enormous, with all networks making lucrative multi-million-dollar bids over the past six months to entice them to their stables.

But Nine has won out, with the proposed deal leaving the pair plenty of scope to investigate opportunities overseas, as well as giving them time for their Australian radio commitments.

Lee and Blake dominated the airwaves for Austereo as the champions of the afternoon drive shift for the past five years.

They have scaled back their commitments to one show a week on Fox FM this year.

Channel 9 declined to comment yesterday.

Two people depicting morons are the "KINGS of RADIO" according to the mass media.

This is typical of the politics of the 'entertainment industry' in promoting cretins to elevated an status. This is done as they offer no real significant value, but show moronic behaviour, and stunts that are dangerous to the victim as well as their well being.

The impressionable youth have morons like this as role models, which is the policy of the 'industry' to dumb down the nations youth.

Talking about flatulence and when was the last time you used breast milk for your guests is HIGH QUALITY entertainment.

Mobile Phone Scams - To Aussie Phones

Internet scams, mobile fraud, loose weight following "one weird tip" scams are not covered by corpau, as not only there are dedicated websites to this, the sheer volume of these scams would cover the majority of posts on corpau.

There has been an increased number of these scams appearing on people's mobile phones, which are NOT filtered out at the telephone service providers end.

The concerning part about this is that there are so called 'laws' that do not work in Australia regarding these types of fraud.

An example of such a fraudulent message is as follows:

Brotherhood founder defends men's club

The founder of a Melbourne men's club known as The Brotherhood says there is nothing sinister about it, despite the ombudsman describing it as secretive with the potential for illegal activity.
Current and former police officers, two state MPs, members of private organisations and public servants who have access to databases containing sensitive information regularly meet for lunch in the name of The Brotherhood, according to Ombudsman George Brouwer.

Mr Brouwer says the group has an emphasis on exclusivity and secrecy and has the potential for illegal information trading.

In a report tabled to parliament on Wednesday, Mr Brouwer says there are up to 350 men on The Brotherhood's circulation list.

The report says men on the list have been the subject of criminal and corruption investigations.
They include a former Victoria Police officer with alleged links to an organised crime figure, a former Australian Wheat Board executive accused of involvement in the Iraq kickbacks scandal, and the manager of a table-top dancing club regulated by the police.

Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Simon Overland has told Mr Brouwer he is deeply concerned about The Brotherhood's activities.

The founder, former police officer John Moncrieff, says there is nothing clandestine about the gatherings of "men of good ilk", for lunch at The Kelvin Club in Melbourne's CBD.

"We're not secretive and we're certainly not corrupt and we have nothing to hide," he told Fairfax Radio on Wednesday.

"I certainly don't wear a white hood and have a couple of holes cut out.
"I'm just an easygoing Australian man that's a businessman.

"I live by a simple creed that you can't go wrong doing the right thing."
Mr Brouwer said the culture of The Brotherhood was evident in its name.

"In this context of police culture it is commonly used to emphasise exclusivity, secrecy and a culture that requires police at all levels to do whatever is required to protect their fellow police," he said.

"This culture protects police officers who break the law and strongly discourages others from blowing the whistle on corruption."

Mr Overland said he had "deep concerns" over The Brotherhood's activities and the direct involvement of serving and retired police.

"Such gatherings, even when totally benign, have the potential to undermine confidence in public institutions - especially policing," Mr Overland states in the report.

But Police Association secretary Greg Davies said unless any improper behaviour had been proved, The Brotherhood was just a group of men having lunch.

"If that's all it is, no I don't think there's anything to worry about," Mr Davies told reporters.
Mr Brouwer said The Brotherhood, which was formed in 2003, was established to serve the interests of the founder, who controls membership of the group.

He said he was satisfied the MPs had no involvement with The Brotherhood and had been placed on circulation lists without their agreement.

Mr Moncrieff denied Mr Brouwer's assertion a police officer on The Brotherhood list used his position at the traffic camera office to wipe $2000 worth of the founder's speeding fines.
A Victoria Police investigation into the officer involved was under way, the ombudsman said.
Mr Brouwer also found a senior police officer may have disclosed the identity of a prosecution witness in a high-profile murder investigation during a Brotherhood lunch, in breach of a Supreme Court suppression order.

Mr Moncrieff denied using The Brotherhood meetings to secure contracts for his security company MONJON, which lists among its clients Thiess, the design and construction contractor for Victoria's Wonthaggi desalination plant.

Government MP Richard Dalla-Riva admitted he was one of the two MPs put on The Brotherhood's list without their knowledge.

"I confirm the statement in the ombudsman's report that I had no involvement with the Brotherhood and my name was placed on the circulation list without my agreement or knowledge," Mr Dalla-Riva said in a statement.

"I also confirm the Ombudsman's statement that I did not attend any Brotherhood lunches nor respond to any requests for assistance.".

Anglo - Masonic rule has been in Australia from its very foundations.

This is nothing new to legal, business, political and medical criminal and other communities.

Deals are done from within the walls of the Masonic Lodge.

Court cases are decided on the basis of Mason vs Non-Mason amongst other pre-requisites.

To publicly say that this is not true is nothing more than a blatant farce.

Sheen denies anti-Semitism in TV row

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen denied Friday being anti-Semitic in an attack on the producer of hit TV series Two and a Half Men, which has been cancelled for the season due to Sheen's latest outburst.

Sheen also insisted he is sober and plans to turn up for work next week for the top-rated TV series, in which he stars. Four shows remain to be filmed this season.

CBS and Warner Brothers announced the cancellation on Thursday after Sheen, who was briefly hospitalised last month following his latest reported booze and drugs-fueled partying mishap, denounced the show's co-creator Chuck Lorre.

In a series of statements to radio and the TMZ celebrity website in the last few days, Sheen railed against Lorre, referring to him as Chaim Levine, the Hebrew translation of the TV producer's name.

"There's something this side of deplorable that a certain Chaim Levine - yeah, that's Chuck's real name - mistook this rock star for his own selfish exit strategy, bro," he said, apparently referring to himself.

"Last I checked, Chaim, I spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write," he added.

After the TV series was cancelled Thursday, he added: "I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels, especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly, I have defeated this earthworm with my words.

"Imagine what I would have done with my fire-breathing fists."

Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti Defamation League lobby group, condemned Sheen's comments.

"By invoking television producer Chuck Lorre's Jewish name in the context of an angry tirade against him, Charlie Sheen left the impression that another reason for his dislike of Mr. Lorre is his Jewishness," he said in a statement.

"This fact has no relevance to Mr. Sheen's complaint or disagreement, and his words are at best bizarre, and at worst, borderline anti-Semitism," he added in a statement.

But speaking from the Bahamas, where he is reportedly vacationing with a new girlfriend, Sheen denied Friday being anti-Semitic.

"I was referring to Chuck by his real name, because I wanted to address the man, not the bullshit TV persona," he told TMZ, which said Lorre's birth name is Charles Levine.

Sheen, whose birth name is Carlos Estevez, added: "So you're telling me, anytime someone calls me Carlos Estevez, I can claim they are anti-Latino?"

Separately, ABC television cited text messages from Sheen insisting he plans to go to work next week on Two and a Half Men, despite its cancellation announced Thursday by producers Warner Bros and CBS.

The TV series about hedonistic jingle writer Charlie Harper - played by Sheen - has been a hit since it was launched in 2003 and has been nominated for numerous awards, including nods for Sheen at the Emmys and Golden Globes.

The Nielsen ratings agency listed it in fifth place in its latest TV shows survey, with 14.5 million viewers for its last aired episode.

Sheen was reported as saying that he was close to signing a deal with Home Box Office for a new series called "Sheen's Corner," but an HBO spokesman denied there was a deal in place.

The star filed for divorce from his wife of two years in November, days after being taken to hospital following a reported drunken incident at a luxury New York hotel involving another porn star.

In addition to his reported substance abuse, Sheen had several run-ins with the law in the 1990s in cases related to drugs, domestic violence and prostitution.

ninemsn 26 Feb 2011

"We're the ones that made you" - is a clear Hollywood producers motto.

The politics is to discredit Mr. Sheen by :

doctoring news stories that contribute to a public downfall,

then by calling him anti-Semitic,

and what follows will be the financial downfall.

Work will dry up, as it has been done to many before him.

This is a standard procedure followed by Hollywood financiers, to remove people that are either no longer part of the clan, or just plain uncomfortable.

The mass media and Hollywood work hand in hand in creating the image of the money making sheep they use, and then dispose of when no longer necessary.
